Anbar gives 14-day notice to central government

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Anbar province determined 20 demands to the central government to be implemented within 14 days, otherwise, the province will be declared as independent region, according to a decision taken by the Provincial Council. Sadoun Ubaid al-Sha’lan told IraqiNews.com that the province suffers the negligence of the central government. The demands concentrated on allocating enough funds, withdrawal of the Iraqi army , stopping random arrests and raids and transforming Habbaniyah military airport to a civilian. Ramadi, center of Anbar province, lies 120 km west of the capital, Baghdad 1054
