Explanations for US embassy personnel wanted, MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: White Bloc MP called upon foreign ministry to explain the reasons for US diplomatic presence, which will exceed 15.000 member, as stated in a statement by his office. MP Kahdim al-Shamarri expected that such massive figure “the US embassy might have something in future”. He pointed out that world powers have personnel not exceeding some hundreds, and questioned “the reasons behind such enormous figure”. Shamarri demanded an explanation from the government and foreign ministry, before “it is neglected”.   RM 694
