Four civilians seriously injured in New Baghdad explosion

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An explosive charge blast in northern Baghdad‘s “New Baghdad” district had seriously injured 4 civilians, a Baghdad security source reported.”An explosive charge blew off in al-Amin district in northern Baghdad‘s New Baghdad district, wounding 4 civilians,” the security source told Iraqi News agency, adding that the injured persons who were driven to a nearby hospital “were seriously injured. The incident follows a series of explosions in different parts of Baghdad, that killed and injured hundreds of citizens, one day after charges against Iraq’s Vice-President, Tareq al-Hashimy, the leader in al-Iraqiya Bloc, by Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, with having been behind terrorist acts, along with Maliki’s decision to sack his Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq, also an Iraqiya leader, from his post.
