Kidnapped person released after ransom paid

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: An owner of a concrete block factory in northern Iraq’s Kirkuk Province was released on Tuesday night, one month after his abduction following the payment of a ransom by his relatives, a Kirkuk Police Officer reported.”A group of unknown gunmen have set free a citizen, called Kawa Jabbar, an owner of a concrete bock plant in Kirkuk, in al-Rashad village, 35 km to the southwest of Kirkuk Tuesday night, after one of month of his abduction, Lt-Brigadier, Sarhad Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency.In another development, Qader said that a joint police and an anti-terrorism force, belonging to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) had discovered an explosive charge and 10 mortar shells in Panja-Ali village, south of the city of Kirkuk, which is 280 km to the northeast of Baghdad.SKH 1432
