Kirkuk’s Red Crescent Director injured in blast

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: The Director of northern Iraq‘s oil-rich city of Kirkuk had been injured in an explosive charge blast planted under his car southwest of the city on Tuesday night, the city’s Police Director, Sarhad Qader reported. “An explosive charge blew up on Tuesday night under the car of Kirkuk’s Red Crescent Director, Yacub Youif Lazim, southwest of the city, seriously wounding him and causing severe damage to his car,” Qader told IraqiNews.com news agency, giving no further details.
