SECURITY: 11 persons detained in Ninewa Province on “terrorism” charges

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A security force, belonging to north Iraq’s Ninewa Province has detained Thursday 11 persons, charged with “terrorism,” in a security operation east of Mosul, an Interior Ministry statement reported. “The force had carried out an inspection operation in four of East Mosul districts, detaining 11 persons, wanted according to Article 4 – Terrorism of the Anti-Terrorism Law,” the statement stressed. Mosul, the center of northern Iraq’s Ninewa Province, is 405 km to the north of Baghdad. SKH (PT)1197
