1 killed, 8 wounded in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was killed and 8 wounded in Mosul today, the head of the security and defense commission disclosed. Abdul Raheem al-Shammari told IraqiNews.com that the final toll from an explosion today reached to one civilian and 8 wounded, a cop among them. The explosion resulted in damaging six shops in the area, as well as some civilian vehicles. Earlier, a security source said the explosion was in the center of the city. Mosul, center of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of the capital, Baghdad.
