Questions to be raised to the US embassy – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: MP Alia Nsaif demanded the Iraqi government to question the great presence of US officials in their embassy in Baghdad. In a statement issued by her office, received by IraqiNews.com, she said that the case of the four Americans arrested few days ago raised a number of questions on the “great figure” of US officials in the embassy. She stressed that Iraq is an independent state with its sovereign institutions and security organs that should observe all the events and movements in the country, otherwise, the Iraqi diplomatic circles should have their word in this subjects, as well as adopting legal procedures against all who violate the Iraqi law.
