BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The government of Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has highlighted the decision of al-Iraqiya Bloc to attend the Parliament’s sessions, renewing its call for the Bloc to attend the Council of Ministers sessions as well, according to a Council statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency on Wednesday. “The government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and the Prime Minister welcomes the return of al-Iraqiya Bloc‘s legislatures to attend the Parliament’s sessions and to play their normal role in the Legislative Power,” the statement stressed. The statement said that the government “on this occasion, renews its confirmation for necessity that the Ministers of al-Iraqiya Bloc would return to attend the Council of Ministers sessions, in order to continue the activity of the ministries and that the public interests and the interests of all citizens would continue.” SKH (TP)/SR 892
