Cases of Hashimi – Mutlaq bring new problems to National Conference

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish Alliance MP Mahmoud Othman said today that the inclusion of both Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi and Deputy Premier Saleh al-Mutlaq cases will beget new problems for the National Conference that “may hinder it”. These cases “may lead to the failure of the conference” Othman told IraqiNews.com. “The political blocs rejected the inclusion of these two cases, which should be solved outside the conference corridors,” he added. “If the parties wish to make the conference a success, they should discuss joint issues and put aside others,” Othman confirmed. Yesterday al-Iraqiya Bloc announced that the two cases of Hashimi and Mutlaq were of primary concern for them in the National Conference.
