Materials of Iraqi Islamic State Media center exposed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Ninewa police exposed today the materials of the Iraqi Islamic State Media Center in Mosul, pointing that a terrorist attempt was to be made during the visit of head of the Higher Islamic Council to Mosul city. Staff General Mehdi Sabeeh al-Gharawi said, in a press conference attended by IraqiNews.com,  said that “a great blow was made against the media center of the Iraqi Islamic State, but their work was not on the media level”. He elaborated that the center worked on the intelligence level and documenting their operations. General Gharawi disclosed that there was a planned terrorist operation for when Ammar al-Hakeem visited Mosul, “but they were arrested”. He excluded the idea of an assassination attempt, rather attributed it to more of an attempt to “show off”.
