National Conference preparatory meeting c – id – objective – statement

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The preparatory committee for the National Conference held its third meeting today with the attendance of all parties, according to a Parliament statement issued today. The meeting “discussed in detail all the working papers submitted by the political blocs,” the statement, received by IraqiNews.com, quoted Speaker Usama Nujaifi saying. “The discussions were candid and objective,” he added, pointing out that the next meeting will be held next Sunday. The committee held its meeting to discuss the working papers submitted by al-Iraqiya, the National Alliance and Kurdish blocs, according to parliamentary media sources. RM (TP)/SR 2558
