Gang – 10 wanted criminals arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The media office in Basra‘s Police Department announced that a gang involved in murders and theft was arrested in the center of the city, while another operation saw the arrest of 10 wanted on criminal charges. The source told IraqiNews.com that the gang was made up of four people, who confessed to their crimes and murdering one person. In other news, the media office noted that police forces arrested 10 persons, one included for terrorism actions, and seized 6 grenades, in different operations throughout the city. Basra city, the center of Basra province, lies 590 km south of the capital, Baghdad. RM (TP)/SR 131
