Iraqi National Football Team to possibly lead 1st group after Jordan’s loss

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Football Team will play its Singaporean counterpart on Wednesday in a match that will change nothing in the order of the first group after guaranteeing qualifying along with the Jordanian team to final stage of the Brazilian World Cup in 2014.

The Brazilian coach of the Iraqi Team, Zico, will try to end the match with a positive result to ensure the first place in the group after the hard defeat of the Jordanian team with 3-1 to the Chinese team.

The match will not be difficult for the Iraqi team because it won the first match in Singapore with 2-0 scored by Alaa Abdul Zahra and Younis Mahmood.

Zico will include young players in the Iraqi formation to ensure their full preparation to the next stage.

The third round of the Asian qualifiers will end today and it will reveal the 10 qualified teams to the next decisive round.
