MoIM: Services works in Basra’s Sport City reach final stages

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ministry of Industry and Minerals MoIM assured that services works in the Sports City project in Basra province had reached the final stages and it is hoped to run it in May 2012.

MoIM statement which was received by (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday said that “Al-Faris Company and the General Company for Design and Industrial Construction are continuing the implementation of the Services works in Basra Sports City, funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which almost reached its final stages and it is hoped to run it next May.”

The project manager of the services project Khalid Al Sayir said that “This project was implemented according to the highest standards, it includes laying rain water and sewage pipes to be treated and then deflation it in Shatt al-Basra River,” noting that “The rates of civil works in the project reached %45.”
