Alwani describes including item 40 in budget as “Wrong procedure”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Alwani, of the Iraqiya Slate described including item 40, which is about the retired persons of the local councils, as a “Wrong procedure.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he stated “The salaries of the retired local council employees were granted to them according to a law endorsed in the last parliament and it cannot be cancelled without another law.”
