IA arrest persons behind Badoush Prison escape

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army security force, arrested two persons who took part in escape of some prisons from (Badoush Prison) in 2006.


A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Thursday “The force managed on last Wednesday night to arrest a father and a son who were involved in smuggling operation in Badoush Prison (20 Km) southern Mousol.”

The source added “Among the escapees were a niece of the former President Saddam Hussein, Ayman Sabawi and the leader of the Qaeda Organization in Iraq Abu Salma,” stressing that “The arrested son is one of the prison guards and he was arrested with his father in their house in Masaref area of northern Mosul.”


Security source have declared that “More than 50 prisoners, among them Ayman Sabawi, have escaped from Badoush prison in 2006.
