Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Basra Investment Commission declared intentions to prepare a catalogue for investment opportunities in the province.
The head of the Commission Khalaf al-Badran said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday “Basra Investment Commission is about to prepare a catalogue for the investment opportunities available in the province and it will be presented to the investors in Iraq and outside Iraq.”
He clarified “The catalogue includes information of interest to the investors as well as reviewing the economic and development situation in the province.”
Badran continued saying that “The Commission intends to publish the catalogue both in Arabic and English in order to benefit from it widely and attract the foreign investors through identifying the investment map and the most important opportunities in all sectors.”
The head of Basra Investment Commission pointed out “The BIC made extensive discussions with Basra Governor Khalaf Abdul Samad in order to launch mutual media, advertising action plan to show the foreign investors Basra economic posture.”
He noted “The plan includes advertisements via internet, channels, and newspapers, and sign posts in the main roads in the province.”
