Hashimi to hold press conference on Friday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, will hold a press conference in Turkey on Friday afternoon.”

A statement by Hashimi’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hashimi will hold an important press conference at a hotel in Istanbul.”

Earlier, the Supreme Judicial Council announced “Postponing the trail of the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, till next Thursday.

Hashimi who is currently in Turkey is supposed to be sued on Thursday in absentia for three crimes. Hashimi’s case is one of the pending issues among the political blocs especially between the State of Law Coalition and the Iraqiya Slate.
