MP urges to avoid withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Falah al-Naqib, of the Iraqiya Slate urged to avoid withdrawing confidence from the government of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We are waiting for the response of the State of Law Coalition over the results of Erbil meeting,” noting that “We hope to settle all the disputes positively.”

“We wish not to reach the stage of withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” he added.

“The unofficial choice of withdrawing confidence from Maliki is still under discussion among the political blocs,” he stressed.

“The political initiatives witnessed in the current stage aim at drawing a political bath through which all the disputes and the pending issues are to be settled,” he assured.

He emphasized “The necessity of nominating the security ministers and to build the security forces according to professional and neutral norms.”
