Atroushi: Describing Barzani as dictator "Unfair charges"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Firhad al-Atroushi, of the Kurdistani Alliance described “Describing the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, as dictator by the Member of the State of Law Coalition, Yasin Majeed, is unfair charges.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The democracy in its best concept is practiced in Kurdistan Region and Barzani got about 70% of the votes.”

“The services and the security are available in Kurdistan Region where the other provinces in Iraq lack these services despite the huge financial allocations,” he added.

“The Kurdistani Alliance is adherent to holding the upcoming national meeting but some political sides hurdles it,” he concluded.

Earlier, MP Yasin Majid of the SLC said today at a press conference held in Baghdad that “Masoud Barzani ruled Kurdistan Region for 20 years in addition to being the head of the ruling party and the commander general of the Pishmirga and his son served as chief of intelligence services in the Region, while his nephew is the prime minister of the Kurdish Government and five members of his family are members of the political bureau of the Democratic Party,” noting that “People know who is the dictator who has cooperated clearly with the dictator in Baghdad (in reference to Masoud Barzani’s asking from Saddam Hussein in 1996 to use Iraqi Republican Guards’ troops to expel the forces of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK from Erbil.)
