IED goes off in Mosul [May-8-2012]

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed when An Improvised Explosive Device went off targeting a police patrol in southern Mosul city on Tuesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED exploded targeting the police patrol near a security checkpoint,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing one of the patrol elements and caused material damages to a patrol vehicle.”

“The IP’s body was sent to the morgue,” the source concluded.
