MoE: Damaged power towers repaired in Wasit after dust storms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity declared that it managed to restore the towers of transmitting electricity to the service in Wassit province after the dust storms which swept the province over the last days. The Spokesperson of the Ministry Musab al-Mudaris said in a statement received by (IraqiNews.com) “The maintenance teams rushed to repair the towers shortly after the storms in order to restore the power to the citizens.” Wassit province and a number of central and southern Iraqi provinces have witnessed, on last Thursday, heavy dust storms that resulted in damages to some of the public properties and as well as citizens.
