Othman criticizes Barzani’s statements against CG intention to buy F16 warplanes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance criticized “The statements of the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, against the Central Government’s intention to buy F16 warplanes.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Barzani’s concerns over the possibility of attacking the Kurdish villages by the warplanes, as the former regime did, are legitimate yet we are against his statements over the CG’s intention to buy warplanes from the US.”

“Exchanging the accusations between the CG and Kurdistan Regional Government comes due to the political disputes between the two sides over some issues,” he added.

“The best way for settling the disputes is to adopt the dilogue,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that Barzani attacked the Central Government assuring that “We do not permit Maliki to have F 16 planes.”
