Turfi: Political initiatives by members of INA to positively affect political process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) –MP, Habeeb al-Turfi, of the Iraqi National Allaince, stated that some initiatives by some members of the INA will positively affect the political process to settle the current disputes.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday, he said “These initiatives are considered the successful means to settle the disputes and achieve an agreement according to the constitution.”

“All the political blocs must adhere to the dialogue and get away of the tensions that lead to increase the disputes,” he concluded.

Earlier, the leaders of the Dawa Islamic Party represented by, Nouri al-Maliki and others met with the leaders of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council represented by Ammar al-Hakim and others.

The two sides discussed the political situation and emphasized the importance of holding the national meeting to settle the disputes.
