Baghdad Municipality announces plan to implement 8 bridges

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Municipality declared a plan to construct eight new bridges in Baghdad to reduce the traffic jams in the Iraqi Capital, Baghdad. A statement by the municipality quoted the Deputy Mayor as saying during his meeting with a number of Turkish companies’ representatives “Baghdad Municipality’s plan for 2012 includes implementing eight bridges besides a number of tunnels which aim to improve the roads sector and to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and to cope with the traffic congestions in Baghdad’s roads.”
