Hashimi: I will not leave Turkey till settling political crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, announced that he” will not leave Turkey till settling the political crisis in Iraq.”

In a TV interview, He stated that he “did not conduct direct talks with Turkish officials but he had indirect talks with high-level officials who confirmed the Turkish support for him against the INTERPOL Red Notice.”

“I hope the crisis to be settled soon,” he added, stressing that “The statements of the Turkish PM on last Tuesday assured Maliki’s unjust treatment for me.”

“I will never forget the Turkish support for me,” he concluded.

Earlier, the INTERPOL issued an arrest warrant against the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, for being suspected of conducting terrorist crimes against civilians and officials in Iraq.
