Intravenous fluids factory launch test operating system on May

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the Nineveh Pharmaceuticals Company will start the test operation for Intravenous fluids factory at the end of May, 2012 to start the actual production during the next few months.

The Ministry of Industry quoted in a statement the assistant of the General Director of Nineveh manufacture of medicines and medical supplies Company Lamia Hashim Mohammed that “The factory of Intravenous fluids is the second biggest factory for the company and the only one in Iraq that products Intravenous fluids,” noting that “This factory was sabotaged during the events of 2003 which led to stop production of the factory.”

She added that “With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and within the allocations of the investment plan of 2010, the company has contracted with many international companies to rebuild the factory and operate it again,” stressing that “The production of the factory will cover the need of the Iraqi market in a remarkable way.”

Lamia Hashim Mohammed pointed out that “The company continues developing its production whether in terms of medical products or packing method to keep pace with the progress in the world.”
