Maliki condemns Damascus blasts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier Nouri al-Maliki condemned the last two terrorist bombings which took place in Damascus city in Syria.

A statement issued by the Premier cited “Unfortunately, we received the news of the recent two bombings which Damascus city suffered from and resulted in killing and wounding dozens of innocent Syrian citizens.’

The statement added that “On behalf of the Iraqi people and government, we condemn these terrorist acts and the sides responsible for targetting the Syrian people,” calling the Syrian people, to “have the highest degree of awareness and to unite to prevent repeating such heinous crimes.”

The statement of the Premier continued saying that “We offer condolences to families of victims and asking Allah for a quickly healing for the wounded persons.” \
