URGENT – Car bomb explodes in eastern Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded in Fallujah district of eastern Anbar on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The car bomb, which was parked at the roadside, exploded targeting a police patrol,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a police officer and injuring five policemen.”

“The police forces cordoned the explosion site and transferred the dead body to the morgue and the injured IPs to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.

It is the second car bombing that targets police patrol in Anbar province on Sunday.
