Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Amar al-Hakim stressed the need to “support the media institutions and promote their career and capabilities to turn them from a source of broadcasting the news to means of analyzing them.”
A statement by SIIC received by (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim received in his office, yesterday, Monday, the Director of the Iranian Radio and Television Bureau Ezzatallah Zarghami.”
“During the meeting, Hakim referred to the pivotal role played by the media in enlightening the public opinion,” the statement concluded.
