Urgent – Tanker bomb explodes in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Three soldiers were killed while 11 civilians were injured as an initial count when a tanker bomb exploded in Mosul city.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “A suicide bomber was traveling by the tanker bomb,” noting that “The explosion was targeting the headquarter of the Iraqi Army in Nahrawan neighborhood of western Mosul.”

The source added that “The number of killed victims will increase because most of the injured people suffer from serious conditions.”

The source continued saying that “The security forces cordoned the explosion scene and transported the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured people to a nearby hospital.” \
