UN delegation praises Iraqi forces capabilities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Interior Ministry Undersecretary Adnan al-Asadi has met a delegation of the United Nations’ Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), headed by Dranm Christensen, and discussed during the meeting the capacity of the security forces to extend security across the country.

The Media Bureau of the Interior Ministry reported to IraqiNews.com that “During the meeting, the Undersecretary discussed with the UNAMI’s delegation the recent developments on the political arena and the success of the Iraqi security forces to ensure the protection during the Arab Summit which was held in the Iraqi Capital Baghdad.”

According to the statement “The delegation of the UNAMI praised the ability and capability of Iraqi security forces in dealing with all new developments and challenges which the country witnessed during the past years.”
