Mousawi: Barazani must reveal secret documents against Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Salman al-Mousawi, of the State of Law Coalition called the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barazani, to reveal his secret document that he have against the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki assuring “If these documents were true, we would resign Maliki.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The SLC calls Barazani to reveal the corruption documents that he has, as he claimed, against Maliki,” noting that “In case he did not reveal them, he will be summoned because the current time is not good to exchange accusations.”

“The accusations and threats conducted by some blocs against Maliki aim to push him to get the benefits and personal privileges,” he added, pointing out “We need to settle the disputes at the current time through dialogue and submitting concessions to get benefit for the achievements that the government has made.”

Earlier, the Presidency of Kurdistan Regional Government threatened to reveal secret documents related to the agreements concluded between the State of Law Coalition and Kurdistan Region or related to the general political situation in Iraq.

The spokesperson of the Presidency of Kurdistan RegionG stated in a press statement over Maliki’s interview with NRT Kurdish Satellite Channel “Maliki repeated what he used to say against Kurdistan Region by trying to blame others over his faults.”
