Nusaiyf calls to replace members of Iraqi- Kuwaiti Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc called to replace the members of the Iraqi- Kuwaiti Committee that is discussing the pending issues between Iraq and Kuwait.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, she stated “Assigning the same members of the previous committees to be in this committee may not bring new results regarding some crucial issues such as releasing Iraq from the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter, Mubarak port and re-considering the borders.”

“Some of the members of the current Committee have stated that Kuwait has the right to construct Mubarak port which means that this Committee may be a reason to end this issue for Kuwait,” she added.

She stressed on the necessity to “Replace these members as it has been done by some committees because it is a normal procedure especially about the pending issues between two countries.”
