Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Electricity Karim Aftan and the Minister of Industry Ahmed al-Karbouli arrived in Anbar province to inaugurate a power station in the province.
A source in Anbar Governorate stated to IraqiNews.com “The Ministers of Electricity and Industry arrived today, morning, Anbar to inaugurate an electricity station with a capacity of (184) MW in Haditha district of western Anbar,” noting that “The two Ministers met with Anbar Governor Mohamed Qasim al-Fahdawi, to discuss the electricity posture in the province.”
The source clarified that “The Minister of Electricity assured that the cost of the project is $ (250) million, and the cadres to work there will be about 320 employees, with an execution duration of three years,” stressing that “The project will be executed by the General Company for Systems in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.”
