Maliki assures Iraq’s readiness to achieve highest cooperation with Jordan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, assured Iraq’s readiness to achieve the highest levels of cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited Thursday “Maliki received a high-level Jordanian delegation at his office in Baghdad on Thursday,” noting that “The delegation involved the Consultant of the King, Abdullah Wreekat, the Head of the Joint Command, General Mishal Mohamed al-Zien.”

“Both sides discussed bilateral relations in political, economic and strategic fields,” the statement concluded.
