Minister of Electricity inaugurates Haditha electricity station

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Electricity, Karim Aftan al-Jumaili, announced that “The electric power system will get an increase in power about 1000 MW before the end of current May and with another 1000 MW on the next June.

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Electricity, Musaab Mudars, declared that this was stated by the Minister in his speech during the inauguration of Haditha electricity station in Anbar province.

The Minister of Electricity emphasized that “The next days and months will witness the result of the efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Electricity represented by accomplishing new electricity stations as well as rehabilitating other stations.”

The Minister appreciated “The patriotic attitude and sacrifices which were made by people of Haditha district to protect the station and its property from terrorist attacks.”
