Eqbal: Assassinating Zidan targets Nineveh province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohammed Eqbal, of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate considered the assassination of Sheikh, Rashid al-Zidan, the head of al-Lihaib Tribe, as targeting Nineveh province.

In a press statement, received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday, Eqbal condemned the assassination attempt of Zidan considering it as “Targeting Nineveh province”.

Zidan passed away on Monday due to an attack by an Improvised Explosive Device targeted him in southern Mousl.

It is worth mentioning that Zidan is the uncle of the MP, Falah al-Zidan, if the Iraqiya Slate.
