Mayahi: Withdrawing confidence from Maliki to topple 3 Presidencies

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the White bloc, Aziz al-Mayahi, pointed out “Withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will topple the three Presidencies which are formed according to Erbil Agreement.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Speaking about withdrawing confidence as a solution for the current crisis and about Maliki as the reason behind this crisis is a fallacy.”

“Withdrawing confidence is against Erbil Agreement which resulted in forming the three Presidencies as one deal,” he stressed, mentioning that “withdrawing confidence from any Presidency means withdrawing confidence from other Presidencies because it will result is refuting Erbil Agreement as a whole.”

“Those who call for implementing Erbil Agreement should know that calling for withdrawing confidence form Maliki is a violation for this Agreement,” he emphasized.

He called “The political blocs to focus on holding the national meeting because it is the most comprehensive solution for the crisis.”
