Jaafary stresses importance of speeding up holding national meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, stressed “The importance of speeding up holding the national meeting.”

During the ceremony which is held in Hakim’s office on the occasion of the Iraqi Martyr Day, which coincided with the anniversary of the Mohamed Baqir al-Hakim and Abdul Aziz al-Hakim’s martyrdom, on Saturday, Jaafary assured in his speech, which was recited by Abdul Razaq al-Kadhimi, on behalf of him, “Iraqis realize that political leaders have to cooperate with each other to consolidate the trust and to eliminate corruption through sound mechanism to achieve their strategic aims.”

“Iraqis underwent huge difficulties and crises and now they hope the political figures to end the disputes to confront the terrorism and the regional challenges that oppose the democracy,” he added.

“On this occasion, we miss the martyr Mohamed Baqir al-Hakim and the dearest Abdul al-Aziz al-Hakim who were among the pioneers of the political process,” he continued.

“We accompanied both of them in confronting the former regime to establish democracy in Iraq and now we observe their impact on their good successor,” he concluded.
