Maliki meets prominent tribal figures in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, met a group of prominent tribal figures and sheikhs in Nineveh province on the margin of the Council of Ministers session which was held in the province earlier on Tuesday.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com “Maliki met the sheikh and the tribal figures after finalizing the council’s session,” noting that “He discussed the political situation and the services as well as the security situation in the province.”

Nineveh is the third province in which the Council of Ministers held its session after Basra and Kirkuk provinces within a governmental plan to discuss the services file in the provinces with the local officials.
