Blocs not to withdraw confidence if government reformed, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Awad al-Awadi, of the Sadr Trend pointed out “The political blocs will not withdraw confidence from the government if they reach a solution to reform the government in their upcoming meetings.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “During their meetings of Erbil and Najaf, the political blocs discussed all the problems including the positive as well as the negative points rather than focusing on the issue of withdrawing confidence from the government,” noting that “The discussions are open on all alternatives.”

“If the consequences of keeping the current government are serious, then all the blocs shoudl take the step of withdrawing confidence from the government to settle the crisis,” he concluded.
