Kuwaiti newspapers highlight winning Kuwait Energy Co. in Iraqi oil exploring bid
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Kuwait newspapers highlighted wining the (Kuwait Energy Company), a bid to explore oil in the 9th exploration block in Basra province during the “4th oil licenses round” which has been launched by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil on last Wednesday. The newspapers mentioned that the contract of exploring and developing the block extends for a period of no less than 20 years. “The company’s head of the Administration Council Dr. Mansour Abu Khamseen expressed his appreciation to the MoO for its confidence in the (Kuwait Energy Co.), hoping to start the exploration operations to meet Iraq’s ambition in developing the energy sector and to increase the productivity,” the journals reported.
