Ahrar bloc expects Talabani to submit request of withdrawing confidence from Maliki to Nijaifi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of al-Ahrar bloc, Mushriq Naji, expected that the President, Jalal Talabani, will submit the request to withdraw the confidence from the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We expect Talabani to submit the request within the next few hours to Nijaifi.”

“Preserving the unity of the Iraqi National Alliance is one of the concerns of the Sadr Trend that is sticking to its unity, so the INA has to consult the constituents of INA to replace Maliki,” he added.

“The merits of the State of Law Coalition will be preserved and suits its natural position,” he concluded.
