MP: Political sides concerned about Maliki’s refusal to submit authority

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Hasnawi, of Ahrar bloc revealed that “The political sides are concerned about the refusal of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to submit the authority peacefully.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Maliki’s control on the State and the security forces arouses our concerns that he may reject to submit his post in case the political sides withdraw confidence from him.”

“The security forces are in alert state all over the Iraqi provinces currently,” he added.

“The political sides put in their consideration Maliki’s expected refusal to submit authority during their recent meetings,” he concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called Maliki to resign to solve the crisis.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”
