Gunmen kill policeman in Fallujah

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed due to an armed attack by silenced weapons in Fallujah district of eastern Ramadi the capital of Anbar province.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Friday that “The gunmen, who were traveling by motorbike, opened fire targeting the policeman, killing him immediately, while he was getting out of his house in Shuhada area of southern Fallujah.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack.”

The source continued saying that “The victim was at his vacation when he was killed,” noting that “The police forces transported the victim’s dead body to the morgue and started an investigation over the incident.” \
