Kinani: No surprises on political scene over toppling Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Amir al-Kinani of the Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend denied any “expected surprises on the political scene over the issue of withdrawing confidence from the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are no surprises over this issue and the Sadr Trend is firm on its attitude and this issue is left to the President, Jalal Talabani to accept the signatures submitted to topple PM Maliki or not.”

Earlier, The Head of Ahrar Bloc MP Baha al-Araji said “The coming days will witness great surprises on the political scene,” without explaining the nature of these surprises.
