Nijaifi denies launching political statements during conference at Mosul University

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The media office of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, denied reports posted by electronic websites that claimed “Nijaifi launched political statements during a scientific conference at Mosul University.”

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Some internet websites posted statements attributed to Nijaifi during attending scientific conference at Mosul University on last Thursday,”

“These statements are groundless because Nijaifi was in Jordan on that date,” the statement added.”

“Some sides are trying to deliver lies to arouse sectarian disputes,” the statement concluded.

Some websites reported that Nijaifi attacked Maliki during a conference held in Nineveh University on last Thursday.
