Most political blocs head towards holding national meeting, says Mayahi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc pointed out “The general tendency among most of the political bloc is to hold the national meeting.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The blocs which called for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, started to feel frustration after loosing all issues which they were using for pressures.”

“Blocs became convinced that the national meeting is the bet way to settle the crisis and to achieve the reformations,” he added.

“Some MPs begun to neglect their blocs because they oppose the policies of the leaders of their blocs,” he concluded.

The political scene witnesses escalated disputes among the political blocs which led some of the political sides to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki after several meetings in Erbil and Najaf provinces.

A political meeting will be held in Nineveh on Saturday. The meeting will be headed by the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to discuss the political crisis.
